Massively Casual Tanking

Tales of a casual Death Knight in World of Warcraft

Heroic tales #2

For some bizzare reason, I wanted to do heroic Stonecore. Don’t ask me why … we don’t do that dungeon often, mainly because people pretty much have to be not idiots to guarantee of fun experience.

Unfortunately, things didn’t turn out that great.

Group setup was me (tank), my brother (warlock) and 3 random LFD members (pally healer, fury warrior and hunter).

The Paladin healer and fury Warrior were clearly not up to the task. Healer in some greens, going out of mana fast on every pack of mobs, and the fury Warrior not understanding the basic concept of ‘Do not stand in bad stuff’.

During the entire run, we wiped 6 times. The Fury Warrior died a whopping 9 times. After a while, the hunter left (he was the smart one), and we got a Shaman DPS as replacement. He dies 7 times, even though he joined much later in the dungeon …

To top it off, a neat tank trinket dropped from the final boss, but the Paladin healer ninja’d it by rolling a 100 N roll. Yay for numbers …

Awesome runnings: 1
Hellish runnings: 1
